The world’s largest soft drink company, Pepsi, has said it will launch its NFTs in the Indian market. To co-curate, the Pepsi Black NFT collection under the direction of the PepsiCo India Design Team, Timea Balo, an illustrator, created the Pepsi NFT Ecosystem.
Pepsi India made this action in an effort to reconnect with the nation’s young, who are more prevalent online and less so in the conventional commercial world.
The NFTs will be minted on the Polygon blockchain and listed on OpenSea.
The company will issue a total of 20 NFTs that will be minted on the Polygon blockchain. Pepsi declared that the collection will be built around the brand’s pillars of “Innovation, Self-Expression, and Evolution.” The growth of Pepsi’s NFT Ecosystem will undoubtedly be aided by these 20 NFTs.
According to Saumya Rathor, Category Lead, Pepsi Cola, PepsiCo India, the Pepsi Black NFT collection will represent and bring to life the world of Pepsi Black by utilizing a variety of passion points that are aligned with today’s youth, including fashion, gaming, social media, music, dance, creativity, and the environment.
Pepsi will run the #PepsiBlackeffect challenge on the social media platform Moj, where participants may enter to win a Pepsi Black Zero Sugar NFT.
The Indian community is required to utilize the Pepsi Black lens on the app and upload a collage of four portraits showcasing their unique personalities. In addition to a Pepsi Black NFT, winners will also get exclusive Pepsi apparel.
