MoonPay Teams Up with NFT marketplace Magic Eden to offer credit card payments

The NFT marketplace Magic Eden has teamed up with the Web3 payment platform MoonPay to give buyers of digital collectibles more ways to pay.

A press release says that Magic Eden users can buy NFTs from other chains with a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. The goal of the strategic partnership is to make it easier for new users to start using the service.

“Our goal is to make NFTs accessible to everyone, enabling individuals to own and control their digital assets,” said Magic Eden chief operating officer Zhuoxun Yin.

This month, MoonPay collaborated with the NFT marketplace LooksRare to let its users buy and sell cryptocurrencies through MoonPay. This means that NFTs can now be bought with a credit card.

In November 2021, the firm raised $555 million, which has helped it keep building strategic partnerships.
