SuperRare RarePass Holders Receive First Airdrop: Decoherence by Pindar Van Arman
Exclusive NFT art marketplace ‘SuperRare’ has released its first Airdrop for RarePass Genesis holders.
Dubbed Decoherence by Pindar Van Arman, the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) were distributed among RarePass holders on December 2 and included some exceptional HD details produced by quantum computers.
RarePass, a subscription-like service, was launched in early November with the goal to reward digital art collectors. There are 250 RarePasses, and one perk is to receive a “monthly airdrop from a legendary artist.”
Well, it’s the first Airdrop, and SuperRare has certainly kept its word. RarePass holders were airdropped NFTs by Pindar Van Arman, an AI artist whose works sell for anywhere from 5 to 28 ETH.
Imagine waking up to that airdrop! Christmas has come early for these lucky pass holders!
Pindar Van Arman’s collection for this drop is named ‘Decoherence’. The 250 animated NFTs in the Decoherence collection by the award-winning artist take you on a visual journey into another dimension.
The artwork consists of irregular shapes and captivating colours that explore the depths of reality. In fact, the talented artist and roboticist created the exclusive collection using quantum computers and AI. He took inspiration from his childhood video games as well as his aspirations of being an impressionist painter.
A little bit of robotics, a little bit of nostalgia, and a dash of impressionism. What a beautiful amalgamation.
“We’re thrilled to debut Decoherence as the first artwork to drop for the collectors of RarePass. As one of the earliest artists on SuperRare and one of the most coveted, Pindar’s work has always been pushing the boundaries for digital art and we are so glad to celebrate that with this drop,” said SuperRare co-founder and CEO John Crain.
As reported, SuperRare’s RarePass has generated over $4.5 million for the marketplace. The exclusive crypto art NFT marketplace has sold the entire collection of NFT passes for more than 3,000 ETH ($4.5 million).
Notably, the collection was favorably successful, resulting in the highest sale being 5 ETH on Opensea.
Pindar Van Arman is an award-winning AI Artist who builds, codes and experiments with robots that paint in a variety of styles. His art focuses on designing painting robots that explore the differences between human and computational creativity.
